Researchers from the Uiara Birdwatching project documented a previously unknown
migration route used by Peregrine Falcons during their journey between North and
South America. Using data collected during our expeditions and satellite tracking
technology, we identified a specific corridor along Rio Negro that serves as an important
rest area for these birds during autumn migration.
